DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING PRESENTATIONS & TRAINING

Workshops on Hajj, Ramadan and Islam basics for local schools including Foxdell, Farley & St Margaret School

Arts and calligraphy sessions at Foxdell working with all school users on a range of activities throughout the day.

Delivered assemblies to student and staff about the Quran and Eid at many schools including Ferrars, Bushmead and the Meads.

FREE CHOCOLATES FOR HATTERS SUPPORTERS

At the penultimate game of the 2017-18 season, the local Muslim community came out to distribute over 1,000 free boxes of Ferrero Rocher to supporters attending the Luton Town match, celebrating the diversity and reinforcing the message of cohesiveness within our community.

FREE RESOURCES PUBLISHED & DISTRIBUTED

COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND FUNDRAISING FOR LOCAL CAUSES

‘The Big Clean’ in collaboration with Signposts & 7 masjids across town – raising awareness about cleanliness.

Local business, Gio’s kindly pledge to double all donations and deliver hot meals anonymously to needy households across town.
We worked in collaboration with Luton Council to provide young Muslims in care with Eid Gifts thanks to the support of the Luton Community.
Over 70 participants in a Winter Sports Day to promote healthy living in the local community and a Sunnah sport.

I think it’s a brilliant project (Eid Gifts), especially for young people who have no family in the UK. These kids have never had Eid gifts before, and it’s greatly appreciated.
