As 2017 comes to an end, we’ve summarised some of our work, including campaigns, published resources, our projects and key themes from our community service. Workshops on Hajj, Ramadan and Islam basics for local schools including St Margaret’s Primary and Linden Academy
Delivered assemblies to student and staff about the Quran and Eid at many schools including Ferrars, Bushmead and the Meads.
Arts and calligraphy sessions at Foxdell working with all school users on a range of activities throughout the day.
Feeding 100 homeless people every week working in partnership with Luton’s homeless shelters.
Like every year, we have continued to support new Muslims and those requiring support to learn, grow and flourish. We have delivered and supported a range of activities from the centre and in the community as illustrated in this chart.
Although I was apprehensive and anxious, I was made to feel like part of the family by the team. After studying the beliefs, I have now registered on a 2 year programme of learning.
The work of the centre is amazing and I pray Allah rewards the brothers and sisters that run it.
